About Me

You are probably wondering why me? What makes me qualified to help you?

Let me introduce myself, my name is Samantha S.

I have a background in Behavior Health Training, and continuing education towards Early Childhood Education. I have worked as a preschool teacher and volunteered teaching different ages for Religious Education in my parish.

I have raised my son as both a stay-at-home mom and a single working mom. Both have had their opportunities and struggles. I have had the opportunity to join different mom groups that help and support each other. I came across a lot of similar stories of "My parents did this and it affected me this way " and observed that, we are a generation that breaking generational trauma. However, a lot of us don't know where to begin or there is not enough time in our day to do the research on topics we're interested in.

So Why Create This Website?

I am creating this website because during my time in college, my experiences teaching, and time as a stay-at-home mom, I read into many different early development topics. I was raised in the same examples of what I don't want to do, so I did the groundwork to choose what I want to change for my son.

I wanted to create a short cut to resources and summaries for parents who are also on this type of journey. Parents who do not enough hours in their day and want quick resources and suggestions for what they're looking for. Parents who don't have someone to look to for advice or to ask questions to. Provide developmental activities that my son also enjoyed and recommend to other parents resources that allows y'all to spend quality time together based on the time you have available.

If you have a recommendation or topic you would like to see represented, or just need to reach out and have support, please feel free to contact me and I will get back to you soon.
